The franchise is absolutely ideal for adaptation into a first or third person game. There's a wide range of human and alien weaponry in the game, co-op is self explanatory, vehicles can be ripped from the show and real life military hardware, multiple smaller open world maps are built-in to the shows premise. RPG elements where you create your own character and have a choice of race (human, Jaffa, Tok'ra etc) and class (soldier, scientist, researcher etc) with different abilities and skill trees. Even PVP game modes can be taken from the show. Battlefront-style large team mode with Goa'uld vs SGC, Battle Royale were teams are either the last one standing or collect all glyphs to punch the right address onto the DHD and extract. Was lying back thinking - don't you love when a relatively normal game turns scary? Maybe it's a small, creepy detail. Sometimes, it's a bit of background lore. I don't know if there was an actual proper way to get this one. In Batman: Arkham City, there one where you have to stay gliding for a certain amount of time (I think), but the only way I could get it was to go to the top of the highest tower which was basically its own area. I had to jump off, glide towards the edge, and the animation would trigger that makes Bruce turn around. Then, I just turned around and did it over and over until I got the achievement. I think it counted the animation time and the animation itself wouldn't make you descend. It was a cool workaround, but I never found a legit way to get it. I've been called a liar and an idiot by groups of complete strangers because I couldn't remember the three or four games this worked in out of the hundreds I've tried it in. Well I just did it again so here's your proof. Hardspace Shipbreaker. The choice is literally "decline and continue". The games loads normally after choosing that option. Considering the theme of the game I find it a little distressing that people wouldn't at least try to see if they could get away with declining the terms. I think it would be incredibly clever if it was something the devs did on purpose. As I've said in the comments that have been downvoted to oblivion by arrogant gamers afraid to try it for themselves: I've tried this with every game I've played since EULAs became a thing and there is no drawback to hitting the "decline" button. I've seen some people mention that the step-up of graphics between the last generation to the current one wasn't as big as previous jumps. I think games will start to adopt more styled graphics as a way to stand out (things like Hi-Fi Rush, or Tears of the Kingdom) by the end of the 2020s. For me personally, the prime example of a game that stood the test of time would be The Settlers 2 from 1996. I remember watching my older brother play it for hours on end before I had my own PC. Background: I ran the first ( edit : 3D ) MMORPG on the net for The 3DO Company- Meridian 59. We did weekly backups and server maintenance. After saving the game state, as an experiment I once sent a 'send class user 0 kill' type command to each of the servers before shutting them down for maintenance. Every character that had ever existed in the game was summoned from the dead and slain on the spot they last stood. Player corpses began piling up in every screen of the map- thousands of them- until the servers ground to a halt. I basically murdered every player that had ever logged into what was the only MMO on the planet at the time. In other words, I killed every MMO player in the world simultaneously.
