I’m just gonna say it. #gaming
Baldur’s Gate 3 let you send items from your inventory straight back to an infinite storage system and no one was harmed. People had more fun, I would argue.
It’s just a few clicks, and I can go about my way without having to either deal with several loading screens, and/or fatwalking halfway across the map. And you had Three! People who could help carry stuff.
Why are developers not jumping on this? Inventory management is a chore. No one likes it. You can minimize it easily. Why wouldn’t you?
I understand carry limits, you should prioritize what you carry around and what you leave at home. But I’m not going to the supermarket, I’m playing a game, I shouldn’t be forced to actually go to said storage unit to put stuff in.
If you want to make me work to get it back out of storage? Fine, I won’t complain, but don’t make me run back home every five minutes to drop off my loot. Looking at you Bethesda.
It just slows you down and adds nothing positive to the experience.
