I don't understand why some people say that replaying story based game is useless #gaming

Like do those people just not reread books or rewatch movies? I've met some people who wont replay their top favourite game because its story based and they already know what happens like. I personally have replayed ff7 countless times and never find it boring and always find new things about the story i didn't notice before.
