Posts of you buying a Playstation or Xbox are not interesting. At all. #gaming

I get that there was a time when getting a PS5 or XBOX-X was a big deal. But even then, seeing a post on this sub of you buying it was not interesting.

Now, they are plenty. And honestly I couldn't care less if you bought one. There are over 20 million PS5's sold and over 14 million XBOX-X's.

Do we need 36 million posts about it? No. It has nothing to do with the act of gaming. It's just you buying something, which we all do every day.

Buy one, be excited, sure. But at least use the device before you post a picture of a PS5 box on this sub. Much rather I'd see you buy one, use it and then post about your experience gaming instead of your experience buying something from a store.

TL/DR: Don't post pictures of the console you just bought, it's uninteresting and we don't care.
